Indian Expat Commits Suicide By Jumping From The 29th Floor

An Indian expat committed suicide by jumping from the 29th floor from a tower in the State of Kuwait in the Salhiya area.

After investigation it was found that he was technician working in the tower, initial report proved that the incident was considered suicide at a time when the prosecution was informed and a case was registered. This is a third suicide case reported today.

On Monday, Kuwait reported 719 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, taking to 27762 its infection tally, the Health Ministry said. The Health Ministry also reported 8 more deaths from COVID-19, taking to 220 the total such fatalities in Kuwait.

The Kuwait cooperative societies working hours will be from 8:00 am to 12:00 AM during the partial curfew, Chairperson of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies Fahad Al-Enezi said. Alongside, parallel markets will be able to operate between 6:00 am to 5:30 pm local-time prior to the partial curfew, said the Kuwaiti Municipality Saturday. The policy will begin as of Sunday, May 31, indicated a municipality press release.

Kuwait Ministry of Interior stated that the residents of the isolated areas are allowed to leave their homes, within the curfew area only but are not allowed to go out of their area even with curfew permit. The partial curfew in Kuwait will be from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
