India lifts lockdown measures despite COVID-19 surge | News

The number of reported cases of coronavirus worldwide has topped seven million.

In India, malls, restaurants and places of worship have re-opened despite a surge in new infections.

There are more than a quarter of a million cases and over 7,000 people are reported to have died.
