35 flights carrying 5,982 expats to depart Kuwait today
KUWAIT CITY, Jun 10: After 27 flights the day before yesterday from Kuwait International Airport, a record of 32 flights carrying 6,180 passegers departed on Wednesday since the interruption caused due to corona virus crisis. On Thursday 35 flights are scheduled to depart with 5,982 passenger
The number of flights departed today was the largest since the start of the pandemic from which the passengers from the Gulf, Arab and Asian nationalities departed to their country. Egyptian community was the largest with 23 flights and 4229 passengers on board.
The airport also witnessed evacuation flights for Indian expats to their country in total 7 aircraft that carried 1132 passengers, a flight to Doha with 209 passengers, and a flight to Jordan with 320 passengers.
