289 Stranded Indian Doctors, Nurses and Technical support staff arrive from India

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 13: The third and final batch of stranded 289 medical teams consisting of doctor, nurse and technician arrived in from India. After conducting medical examinations they have been moved to Jaber Al-Ahmad city.

The evacuation of stranded health personnel in India comes on the instructions of the Minister of Health Dr. Baseel Al-Sabah, Undersecretary Dr. Mustafa Reda and Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi and Assistant Undersecretary for Planning, Quality and Support Services Dr. Muhammad Al-Khashti, and Assistant Undersecretary for Services Affairs M. Abdulaziz Al-Tashah .

Total of 651 health personnel in three batches arrived in Kuwait, from these all were tested negative except for 3 nurses who were confirmed to be infected with Coronavirus where precautionary measures were taken with them and were placed in quarantine.

They were received by the director of the Nursing Services Department, Sanaa Taqadom, the director of the General Services Department, Mohsen Al-Rashidi, and the consultant of ENT Dr. Ahmed Al-Rashidi, the nursing, public relations and media groups and the head of the Kuwaiti Nursing Society Bandar Al-Anzi
