The chief government spokesperson Tariq Al-Muzram confirmed that based on the proposal of the Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, the cabinet decided today to end the isolation imposed on Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula regions, starting Thursday, 9th July at 5 am.

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, also instructed the Finance Ministry to secure KD 75 million (USD 243.8 million) for the Ministry of Health to be ready to purchase vaccines for coronavirus, Deputy Premier, Interior Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Anas Al-Saleh said in a statement after the meeting.

It also decided to increase the budget of the Public Authority for Manpower by KD 240.4 million (USD 781.7 million) to support Kuwaiti employees at the private sector and avoid any negative impacts on them due to the pandemic lockdowns
