51 expats arrested for violating residence law – Fake maids offices raided

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 26: The Residency Affairs department shut two fake offices and arrested 9 residence violators. In addition to dealing with the complaint of harboring absconders wanted by law 7 were arrested.

Also 14 expats ( 12 women and 2 men  ) were arrested for violating residency and work law who were engaged in immoral act and trading in alcohol. Two persons wanted by law were arrested who were staying in a hotel.
The General Administration of Residency Affairs also carried out inspection campaigns on public transport companies and buses in Mahboula area resulting in the arrest of 19 residence violators.

The campaign was carried out within the framework to arrest residence violators. The Residency affairs will carry out a campaign to combat fake offices. The administration called on all citizens and expats to cooperate with the security men, and not to hire nor shelter residence violators
