Saturday, is the first day of Ramadan in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 1: Kuwait moon-sighting committee declared on Friday that the holy month of Ramadan would begin on Saturday (tomorrow) after the appearance of the crescent of the month. This came in a speech delivered by President of Judicial Supreme Council and head of the committee Judge Ahmad Al-Ajeel after the meeting of the committee late Friday.

After seeing the crescent moon this night, Saturday will be the first day of Ramadan of 1443, he said. The committee conveyed sincere congratulations and greeting to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, all citizens and expats as well as Arab and Muslim nations on this occasion, he said.

He sincerely wished many happy returns of Ramadan, further prosperity and progress for the dear homeland. Meanwhile, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Integrity Promotion Affairs Judge Jamal Al-Jalawi conveyed sincere greeting to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, all citizens and expats, as well as Arab and Muslim nations on this occasion. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect the dear home, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Prince Minister as well as His Highness the Prime Minister.
