Second batch of Eurofighter jets arrive

KUWAIT CITY, April 3: The Kuwaiti Army has confirmed the arrival of the second batch of Eurofighter Typhoon Trench 3 aircraft to the country, reports Al- Jarida daily. In a recent press statement, Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Issa Al-Dabis revealed that the flight from Italy lasted five hours, including three times refueling in the air.

In 2016, Kuwait ordered 28 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft manufactured by a consortium of European companies at a total cost of $8.7 billion. Meanwhile, in a step that is expected to bring about a significant change in the working mechanism of contracts at the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (administrative building), the KPC has launched a special link https://registersupplier.kpc. com.kw for the registration of suppliers and contractors, which allows them to electronically register the services and material they provide to the KPC. Sources told Al-Anba that the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation is keen to provide the best means of digital communication with trading partners.
