Banks mull time change
KUWAIT CITY, May 10: The local banks are looking into a proposal to amend the working hours in banks from 9:30 in the morning until 5 in the evening, reports Al-Rai daily. The sources indicated the discussions are ongoing in this regard before taking the appropriate and final decision and opening the door for discussion in this regard with the Central Bank of Kuwait.
Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Kuwait has been monitoring advertisements published by some hobbyists and coin collectors who are selling the sixth issue of Kuwaiti Dinar banknotes at a price higher than their financial value as some of these banknotes are distinguished for their serial numbers, reports Al-Rai daily.
