Palestinian PM ‘commends’ Kuwait’s supportive stances
RAMALLAH, Sept 6: Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh on Sunday commended Kuwait’s positions backing the Palestinian cause and people. This came during Shtayyeh’s reception of a visiting Kuwaiti delegation, in Ramallah, tasked with contracts with a number of Palestinian signing teachers to work in Kuwait.
Kuwait’s position backing Palestine’s cause forms the Arab region’s balance, thanks to the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Shtayyeh said. Kuwait is a dear country to any Palestinian person who considers it as their second home, he added. He stressed the importance of boosting cooperation between the two countries in education and several sectors. The Kuwaiti delegation arrived in Palestine Sunday and started, earlier today, interviewing the teachers who have met requirements of the Ministry of Education.(KUNA)
