MOI warns on adulterated Lyrica which is highly toxic
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: The Ministry of Interior warned about fake Lyrica pills being widely available in the market. It was discovered during recent raids where these pills were confiscated and after examining in forensic laboratories it was found that they were not Lyrica pills but rather packed capsules containing phenacetin which was used in medicine. It is highly toxic to humans and it is carcinogenic which can lead to death, it is a medicine used in veterinary clinics and has been banned since seventies as it is highly toxic.
