Hashish seized, 2 smugglers confess
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: The Directorate-General Narcotics Control, in cooperation with the General Department of Coast Guard, thwarted the smuggling of 131 kilograms of hashish which came from Iran. MOI added, two Iranians have been taken into custody who were caught after they were spotted entering Kuwait’s territorial waters.
The Ministry of Interior said during interrogations the suspects have confessed that they had dumped the drugs into the sea to be recovered later.
