Kuwaiti carjacker arrested for stealing worshipers vehicles

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 19: The Ministry of Interior’s Farwaniya detectives were able to identify and arrest the accused of breaking into the cars of worshipers when they were busy offering prayers. The vehicles were parked near the Al-Muwaziri Mosque in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area. The accused is a Kuwaiti citizen 33 yr old who has a criminal record and is a drug addict, he was released from prison a month ago.

The accused confessed stealing of more than 40 cars in several areas by breaking car windows with a hammer and stealing its contents mostly in Farwaniya and Hawally governorate. The instrument used in the crime, some stolen money has been seized and has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
