Juveniles driving without ‘license’

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: The Traffic and Operations Sector in the Interior Ministry carried out a series of security campaigns last week under the supervision of Assistant Undersecretary for Operations and Traffic Affairs Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh; while Director General of the General Traffic Department (GTD) Major General Youssef Al-Khada monitored the campaigns, reports Al-Jarida daily.

These campaigns resulted in the issuance of 26,535 citations for various traffic violations; arrest of 32 people for recklessness on the road; impounding of 178 vehicles and 13 motorcycles; and referral of 15 juveniles to the Juvenile Prosecution for driving without a license.
