3.4 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Central Iraq’s Numaniyah City
BAGHDAD, April 1: The Iraqi General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring reported a 3.4 magnitude earthquake in the city of Numaniyah, located in the central Wasit Governorate. While residents in the area felt the earthquake, there were no reported human or material casualties. A week prior to this event, the neighboring province of Maysan, near the Iranian border, also experienced a 4.6 magnitude earthquake, but without causing any harm to humans or damage to property.
