2 Filipinos, Lebanese and a Kuwait arrested for drug trafficking in Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, March 30: The Criminal Security Sector has arrested, two Filipinos, a Lebanese and a Kuwaiti for trafficking in narcotic substances. Police have seized from them crystal meth, hashish, and Lyrica pills. The four suspects were caught in different areas of the country — Farwaniya, Mahboula and Hawalli.

Meanwhile, personnel from the General Department for Drug Control have taken into custody an unidentified person and seized from him various types of drugs, weapons and drug paraphernalia. The seizures included 200 grams of hashish, 38 Zinex tablets, one gram of crystal meth, 7 firearms of different types, two electronic scales, a large quantity of ammunition and drug use tools.

The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Directorate-General of Drugs Control stated the seizure comes as part of the continuation and intensification of security campaigns against drug dealers. The suspect and the contraband have been handed over to the concerned authority.
