Customs Intercept Shipment of Narcotics Coming from European Country

KUWAIT CITY, April 4: A shipment of various narcotics, including marijuana, hallucinogenic pills, and hashish oil, was intercepted by customs officials at the Air Cargo Department coming in from a European country. The package was labeled as containing “personal effects” and had been sent from a European country.

During inspection, the customs targeting team found three bags of narcotic marijuana, 60 hallucination pills, and 20 ampoules of hashish oil hidden among the clothes. The individual responsible was apprehended with the seized items and handed over to the authorities in cooperation with the Office of Customs Research and Investigation and Drug Control.

The Director General of the General Administration of Customs, Mr. Sulaiman Al-Fahd, expressed his appreciation for the successful collaboration between the Research and Investigation Sector of the General Administration of Customs and the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Interior, which has led to the arrest of numerous smugglers. He also thanked everyone involved for their dedication to their work.
