‘Apply for visa now’
KUWAIT CITY, April 11: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on citizens wishing to travel to one of the Schengen countries during the summer season to apply for the necessary visa sufficiently in advance of the travel date to avoid delays in the visa issuance process, noting that it is possible to apply for a Schengen visa six months before the date of travel.
The Ministry stressed the importance of submitting applications for obtaining a Schengen visa through the offices accredited by the concerned embassies, while adhering to the specified deadline and avoiding dealing with intermediaries not approved by the Ministry. Embassies to book an appointment for submitting a visa application, submitting all required documents, and following up the periodic bulletins issued by the diplomatic missions of the Schengen countries accredited to the State of Kuwait regarding the necessary procedures for obtaining visas.
