Saudi Arabia seizes over 12.7 mln illegal amphetamine pills
IYADH, April 25: Authorities in Saudi Arabia seized over 12.7 million amphetamine pills hidden amidst a pomegranate shipping that was being smuggled through Jeddah airport, the Narcotics Control General Directorate said on Tuesday. This came during a periodical follow-up of smuggling narcotic nets that target Saudi Arabia’s security and people, in cooperation with the tax and customs authorities, a spokesman for the directors Major Marwan Al-Hazmi said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) .
