Traffic crackdown in Khaitan, Farwaniya and Jleeb Al Shuyoukh

KUWAIT CITY, July 01: The Ministry of Interior’s General Department of Relations and Security Media has reaffirmed the ongoing commitment of the traffic and operations sector to apprehend traffic law violators and address undesirable behaviors on the roads.
Recently, the General Directorate of Traffic conducted a targeted traffic campaign in the areas of Khaitan, Farwaniya, and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, resulting in the issuance of 400 various violations. Among these, 170 violations were recorded in Khaitan, 100 in Al-Farwaniya, and 130 in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. Additionally, 40 violations involved deliberate obstruction of traffic, climbing over sidewalks, and abandonment of neglected vehicles.
The department emphasizes the importance of public cooperation with the traffic police and urges immediate reporting of any observed negative incidents to the emergency hotline (112) or through the traffic number (99324092).
