8 Asian Expats Arrested for Stealing and Hoarding Building Supplies

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29:  Eight Asian expats have been arrested in connection with the theft and hoarding of construction materials. The Ministry of Interior stated that, as a result of search and investigative operations, personnel from the General Department of Criminal Investigation (Department of Financial, Administrative, and Maintenance Services) received intelligence indicating that several expats of Asian origin were involved with individuals responsible for stealing building materials and equipment from construction sites, subsequently stockpiling these stolen items in a private location.

Following the acquisition of the requisite legal authorization, eight Asian expats were arrested while in the process of unloading and loading stolen construction materials. The storage location was identified, revealing a substantial quantity of stolen construction materials, assorted copper components, and electrical tools. The individuals involved, along with the confiscated items, are presently under referral to the appropriate authorities for necessary legal action.
