GTD seizes 7 vehicles, arrests seven people during security campaign

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30: The security personnel from the General Traffic Department have arrested seven individuals for orchestrating unauthorized racing events in the Saad Al-Abdullah suburb on Friday, reports Al-Anba daily.

A security source informed the daily that this operation was conducted under the oversight and guidance of Major General Abdullah Al-Rajaib, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Security Affairs, and Brigadier General Saleh Uqla Al-Azmi, the Acting Director General of Jahra Security.

In the course of the crackdown, the General Traffic Department personnel issued 16 traffic citations and seized seven sports cars and four-wheel drive vehicles, towing them to the GTD garage.
