Liquor and Drug Bust: 21 Expats Arrested in Kuwait
KUWAIT CITY, Oct 17: In an ongoing commitment to public safety and security, the public security sector diligently conducts daily security inspections and patrols in various regions. These efforts are aimed at preserving the safety of the community and apprehending individuals engaged in criminal activities. The security departments of the governorate have successfully detained 21 expats of various nationalities across 15 different cases.
These individuals were found in possession of a significant quantity of imported alcohol, narcotic drugs, and psychotropic substances, and, notably, two individuals were caught with prohibited medical materials. Many of the accused had arrest warrants issued against them, and some had existing imprisonment sentences. In addition, 6 expats of Asian nationality were taken into custody on charges of distilling liquor in Mangaf area. Law enforcement authorities discovered 25 barrels containing alcohol and distillation equipment. All these individuals have been handed over to the appropriate authorities to initiate the necessary legal actions against them.
