KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has conveyed the firm condemnation and strong disapproval of the State of Kuwait regarding the appalling massacre perpetrated by Israeli forces occupation at Al-Fakhoura School, a facility associated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). This tragic incident unfolded in Jabalia Camp situated in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in numerous civilian casualties, including women and children.
Emphatically rejecting the systematic targeting of defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip, the Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s call for an immediate cessation of such attacks. It underscores the imperative to safeguard the brotherly Palestinian people, along with relief organizations and societies, including their dedicated workers. Furthermore, the Ministry advocates for the activation of international accountability mechanisms to address the continuing Israeli violations of international humanitarian law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
