Traffic Jams Surge as Rainwater Causes Disruptions in Kuwait
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 15: Major General Abdullah Al-Rajaib, the Undersecretary of the Public Security Sector, has reported the closure of several roads. Specifically, Al-Maghrib Road leading to the capital, the Surra area, Al-Jahra Road opposite Al Tilal, and Abdul Karim Al-Khattabi Street next to Hawally Passport office, as well as the Soukh Mubarakiya parking lots in the capital region, have been closed due to rising water levels.
He emphasized that these closures are due to water accumulation and urged both citizens and residents to avoid unnecessary outings, stressing the importance of prioritizing safety. Al-Rajaib advised people to stay away from water accumulation to ensure their well-being during the ongoing rainy conditions in the country.
