Narcotics and drug paraphernalia seized from three suspects
KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18: In implementation of the security plan for rapid security deployment in all regions over a 24-hour period, patrol men supporting the Ahmadi Security Directorate were able to arrest 3 people in the Umm Al-Hayman area in possession of narcotic drugs and abuse tools.
Patrol men from the Ahmadi Security Directorate, during their tour in the Umm Al-Hayman area, became suspicious of a car parked in one of the parking lots, and after approaching it, its driver started the car’s engine and stepped on the gas pedal in a vain attempt to escape with two other men inside.
After chasing the man and forcing the man behind the steering wheel, it became clear one of them was wanted in connection with a criminal case, and during a precautionary search of the car police found narcotic substances (hashish, chemicals, shabu, and narcotic pills), in addition to tools and syringes used for drug abuse.
Accordingly, the accused and the seized narcotics were arrested and referred to the General Department of Narcotics Control.
