LONDON, Nov 30, (Agencies): Kate Middleton and Prince William reunite with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden. The 41-year-old Prince and Princess of Wales graciously hosted the 46-year-old Princess Victoria and 50-year-old Prince Daniel at Windsor Castle on a brief visit Thursday. Notably, Prince William and Princess Kate call Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate their home.
The Swedish royal couple is currently on a short visit to the UK, and the meeting was an opportunity for William and Kate to strengthen their ties with their counterparts. Both William and Victoria, being heirs to their respective thrones, share a distinctive bond, uniquely positioned to foster the enduring relationship between their royal families and countries.
This gathering marks several occasions where the two couples have spent time together in recent years. The Swedish royals were honored guests at William and Kate’s wedding in 2011, reciprocated by a visit from the British pair in January 2018. The paths of these royal figures likely crossed earlier this year during King Charles’ coronation in May, where Princess Victoria accompanied her Father, King Carl XVI Gustav of Sweden.
