Kuwaiti student enrollments halted at Lebanese University and Oman’s University of Technology

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Manea, has issued a ministerial decision halting the registration and enrollment of Kuwaiti students in literary colleges at the Lebanese University in Lebanon.

The decision, recently issued and obtained by Al-Jarida, excludes students already enrolled and continuing their studies before its issuance, as well as those accepted for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024 at the latest. Another decision was also issued to cease the registration and enrollment of Kuwaiti students at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman.

This decision, as reported by Al-Jarida, similarly exempts students already enrolled and continuing their studies, along with those accepted for the second semester of the academic year 2023-2024 at the latest
