Isra and Mi’raj holiday update: Three-day break starts February 8 – What you need to know

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: It has been officially announced that the Isra and Mi’raj holiday is slated for Thursday, February 8. On this day, ministries will observe holidays. Importantly, there will be no rescheduling of the holiday to another day. If the Isra and Mi’raj holiday aligns with two consecutive working days, the holidays will automatically stretch to three days. Consequently, this year, the holiday will span from Thursday, February 8, to Saturday, February 10.

Furthermore, sources indicate that the National Day and Liberation Day holidays are designated for Sunday and Monday, February 25 and 26. Taking into account the preceding Friday and Saturday, February 23 and 24, the overall holiday period extends to four days.
