KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: Teams from various sections at the Residency Investigations General Department in the Ministry of Interior have conducted a massive security campaign covering different areas, resulting in the arrest of 575 individuals who violated the Residency and Labor laws.
In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media General Department at the ministry confirmed that the day and night campaigns conducted by teams from the Search and Investigations Section, Monitoring and Coordination Section, Violators Follow-up Section, and Administrative and Financial Services Section in Hawally, Salmiya, Mubarakiya, Mahboula, Farwaniya, Fahaheel, Sharq and Shuwaikh led to the arrest of the abovementioned number of individuals of different nationalities.
Security sources confirmed that the Deportation General Department at the ministry is expediting procedures for the deportation of those arrested, pointing out that the campaigns will continue during the New Year holiday to arrest all those who violated the Residency and Labor laws, as well as those involved in immoral activities.
