KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: In a recent meeting, the Camps Committee of the Municipality approved a set of recommendations detailing violations that could result in the cancellation of licenses for spring camps. The identified infractions include the unauthorized use of all-terrain vehicles (buggies), and motorcycles, along with the establishment of any negative phenomena.
The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality clarified that the committee’s decision aligns with the established conditions and controls for hosting spring camps. Specifically, if a license holder is found in violation, particularly involving the presence of ATVs or unlicensed motorcycles, fines will be imposed upon confirmation, and the vehicles will be confiscated and held at a designated detention site.
Moreover, the Municipality will take decisive action if negative phenomena are observed during the camp, that contradicts Islamic teachings and conservative customs. In such cases, the necessary measures, including the cancellation of the camp’s license, will be implemented to uphold community standards and regulations.
