Municipality closes 3 stores in the Farwaniya and Khaitan areas
KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: A recent inspection tour conducted by the Audit and Services Follow-up Department of the Farwaniya Governorate Municipality Branch has led to the closure of three stores in the Farwaniya and Khaitan areas. The primary objective of the inspection was to assess the level of compliance of markets and stores with the municipality’s terms and controls.
Dr. Nasser Al-Rashidi, Deputy Director General of the Monitoring and Inspection Sector and Director of the Audit and Follow-up Services Department in Farwaniya Governorate, provided insights into the closures, attributing them to the violation of opening a store without obtaining municipal approval. Dr. Al-Rashidi highlighted the commitment to enforcing regulations to maintain order and compliance within the municipality.
In response to the findings, Dr. Al-Rashidi emphasized that inspectors in the governorate will continue their field tours. Their focus will be on monitoring and following up with establishments to ensure adherence to the laws and regulations enforced by the municipality. Any violations encountered during these inspections will be met with legal measures to uphold the standards and regulations established by the municipality.
