KUWAIT CITY, Jan 3: Kuwait Municipality teams have intensified their monitoring efforts on spring camps across multiple locations in the Jahra and Al- Ahmadi governorates and issued warnings of cancelling camping licenses if any celebrations are held during the official mourning period in the country, reports Al-Rai daily. During the official holiday, municipal teams collaborated with street vendor departments in the hygiene and road works departments of Jahra and Al-Ahmadi governorates, and joint efforts resulted in the removal of 46 illegal camps and the dismantling of 140 others, along with 20 mobile grocery stores.
These structures were relocated to the municipal reservation sites in Al-Naeem and Mina Abdullah areas. Additionally, 70 street vendor violation reports were issued, and the violators were referred to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
