Court frees 2 youths in a drug case with stern warning

Criminal Court grants a second chance to two young men involved in a drug abuse case.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: The Criminal Court, led by Counselor Abdullah Al-Osaimi, has approved the release of two individuals implicated in a drug abuse case. Speaking to the accused, Counselor Al-Osaimi conveyed, “You are young individuals, standing at the threshold of your lives and futures. It is impermissible to squander your potential on what has been prohibited by God. All that poses harm to the soul and body is forbidden, and given your youth, the court is offering you a chance. However, you must pledge that you won’t appear in court again, as this opportunity won’t be extended a second time.”

Following the discovery of narcotic substances in their vehicle during a search by security personnel, the two defendants vehemently denied the accusations leveled against them.
