Expat wanted in theft of 13 iPhones
KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: As per the directive of the deputy attorney general, an expatriate was included in the list of individuals wanted by law for stealing seven iPhone 13 Pro Max mobile phones in Jahra and a case was registered under No. 3/2024. The director of a company selling mobile phones in a complex in Jahra disclosed that the expatriate employee disappeared when the theft was discovered, indicating the total value of the stolen phones is more than KD 2,000. He said the company officials tried to contact the accused, but he turned off his mobile phone. He provided the investigators with the surveillance camera recordings showing that the employee stole the phones.
On the other hand, detectives at Jahra Police Station requested to view the surveillance cameras in a shopping center to identify the person who stole a router from the shop. According to a security source, an expatriate, who works as an agent of the shop, reported the theft, without naming any suspect. Another expatriate filed a report at the same station, stating that an unknown person sneaked into his house while he was sleeping and stole KD 800.
