Trafficker Arrested: Kuwait Authorities Seize 45,000 Captagon Pills and Lyrica

KUWAIT CITY, 13: Customs inspectors at the Abdali border crossing in Kuwait seized around 45,000 Captagon pills and approximately 170 pills of the narcotic “Lyrica” from a traveler who arrived on Friday, 12/1/2024. Upon a meticulous inspection, the individual was found in possession of pills and subsequently arrested. The suspect has been handed over to the appropriate authorities.

Expressing gratitude, Mr. Abdullah Adel Al-Sharhan, the Director General of the General Administration of Customs, commended the diligence and efforts of the Abdali Customs workers. A stern warning has been issued by the General Administration of Customs, cautioning against the smuggling of narcotics and prohibited goods into the country. Those attempting such illegal activities will face legal consequences, and customs measures will be enforced against them.
