Ministry announces temporary water shortage in 17 areas on Thursday

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 6: The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has announced plans for maintenance work on the water network at the Sabhan Pumping Station, scheduled for Thursday, February 8. The maintenance, set to commence at 10:00 PM, will last for approximately 6 hours.

As a result of this maintenance activity, residents in the following areas may experience a temporary shortage of fresh water supply: Sabah Al-Salem, Mushrif, Bayan, Al-Adan, Abu Ftaira, Al-Qusour, Al-Salmiya, Al-Salam, Al-Zahraa, Farwaniya, Al-Siddiq, Rumaithiya, Al-Surra, Salwa, Hawalli Square, West Mushrif, Al-Khalidiya

The Ministry has expressed gratitude to customers for their cooperation during this maintenance period. In the event of a water outage, residents are advised to contact the unified call center at 152 for assistance. This temporary inconvenience is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the efficiency and reliability of water supply services across the designated areas
