‘Amir speech roadmap to light’

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: The speech of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is a roadmap for the political path; as it carries wisdom, foresight and outstanding experiences regarding the events taking place on the local scene, says academician and journalist Dr. Ayed Al-Manna. In a statement to the daily, Al-Manna pointed out that His Highness the Amir is keen on upholding constitutional guarantees, especially since the defects he mentioned previously require treatment and correction.

He stated that the current constitutional imbalances, which His Highness referred to, necessitate finding mechanisms to ensure they are not repeated in the future. He said the next stage will contribute to accelerating development aspects without obstacles, bidding, clashes and disruption. He added that His Highness the Amir also talked about the widespread corruption, hoping all problems will be eliminated and that the stage set by His Highness will be sufficient for correction and to open a new page for a better Kuwait.

Meanwhile, Fareeh Al-Enezi, another journalist, asserted that His Highness’ speech is a beacon guiding the nation towards the right path; thereby, eradicating anxiety and increasing reassurance and stability among citizens. Al-Enezi affirmed that the sublime speech of His Highness the Amir touched on the concerns of the nation and it is like a compass through which the captain guides his ship towards the safe shore. He pointed out that the local political arena witnessed conflicts that had a negative impact on the entire Kuwaiti society, indicating the citizen looks forward to a prosperous future for Kuwait. He believes His Highness’ speech expressed the concerns of the Kuwaiti people, as it revealed the challenges that Kuwait is currently facing. He said His Highness has a long experience that confirms his knowledge of many matters in a way that supports and illuminates the development plans the citizens have been aspiring for.
