Fake Cop Strikes Again, One More Expat Robbed
KUWAIT CITY, Jun 9: Hours after an expatriate reported to Maidan Hawalli police station that an individual posing as a security officer had stolen money from him, another expatriate filed a similar report at Qasr police station. This expatriate, a driver, described how a man in a Japanese four-wheeler forced him to stop on the Jahra Governorate Bridge, claimed to be a detective, searched his vehicle, and took his wallet and 40 dinars. The impostor then threatened deportation if he was followed. A case numbered 22/2024 was registered at the Palace police station.
