David Briggs, a neighbor who lived nearby, was stunned by the news. "It’s just crazy, it’s like something out of a movie," he said. "I just thought it was crazy, it’s like pretty nerve-wracking because it was like the first time there were so many police officers there. Usually, there are only three cars over here, but this time there were a whole street closed off by a bunch of police officers."
Briggs knew one of the men who lost his life, describing him as a quiet and unassuming individual. "He did all of his mechanical work in the driveway at home or in his garage," Briggs recalled. "He was a real quiet person. Another neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, echoed Briggs’ sentiments, saying that the victim was a peaceful and untroubled individual who kept to himself.

The victim’s family is also reeling from the loss, with one neighbor describing them as a kind and gentle family who never caused any trouble. "They never did anything, never had any parties or anything wild going on there," said the neighbor. "It’s just a tragic surprise."
