"Chelsea’s Superman: Clinton’s Assessment of Graham Potter’s Side and Cole Palmer’s Contributions"

As the Premier League’s second-fastest player to reach 30 goals for Chelsea, Graham Potter’s side has certainly been on an impressive run of form. But what do we make of it, really? I think it’s fantastic, to be honest! I love watching him play, love his interviews, and I just love him as a footballer – he’s a special talent, one of my favorites in the Premier League.

Potter’s comments last season, admitting to feeling more pressure to perform and score goals, were quite intriguing. This season, he seems to be handling the pressure differently, allowing himself to relax and be himself, that talismanic figure Chelsea so desperately need. And, boy, are they making a statement! Level on points with second-place Arsenal, two ahead of Manchester City and Brighton, it’s hard to ignore the fact that Chelsea are right in the mix.

But, do I believe they’ll win the title? Honestly, I don’t think so. I think City have a stronger chance, but that’s not to say Chelsea can’t make a run in January. Enzo Moresco, in particular, deserves credit for handling the squad so well. I questioned his appointment initially, but he’s done a fantastic job, keeping the likes of Cole Palmer fresh and rotating the team effectively.

And that’s exactly what sets Chelsea apart. Few teams can switch their entire squad for European matches without compromising performance. Palmer’s consistent gametime has been particularly impressive, and his interviews are always a delight. I find myself wanting to be their teammate!

The end result? Chelsea’s squad is looking more cohesive than ever, despite having too many players. It’s a wonderful problem to have! Can they win the title? Unlikely, but they’re certainly in the mix. If they can keep up this momentum, anything can happen. And I, for one, can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
