Growing Frustration Between Trump and Putin
This morning, we’re reporting on the growing frustration between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, as tensions escalate over the war in Ukraine. Yesterday, Trump announced a deadline for Russia: agree to a ceasefire within 50 days or face steep economic sanctions.
In an unexpected shift, Trump is now saying he’s fed up with Putin’s lack of results, claiming that Russia’s president is all talk, no action. This comes after Trump previously touted his good relationship with Putin, despite criticism from many.
Trump has also announced plans to send Ukraine Patriot air defense missiles to help fend off attacks from Russia. This move marks a significant change in Trump’s approach, as previously, he had been criticized for not doing enough to aid Ukraine.
